How To Troubleshoot Network Connection – With Cable
  • 1) Ensure that the icon in the upper-right corner of the devices displays green lines between the two computers to indicate a good network connection. If the devices are not connected to the network, the icon will display red lines between the two computers
  • 2) Log into MENU -> COMM -> ETHERNET
  • 3) Enable DHCP, and the IP Address will refresh automatically after a short time
  • 4) Take note of the IP Address, Subnet Mask and Gateway, as you will need to enter them in the next step. Eg, 192.168.1.103, 255.255.255.0, and 192.168.1.254 respectively
  • 5) Disable DHCP, then manually enter the IP Address, Subnet Mask and Gateway
  • 6) On your computer, search for and open Command Prompt. Type ping 192.168.1.103 and press Enter
  • If the network connection is successful, you will see a reply from 192.168.1.103
  • If you see messages like REQUEST TIMED OUT or DESTINATION HOST UNREACHABLE, contact your IT team for network troubleshooting
  • 7) If the network connection is successful, go to your computer, run BIOXCESS TA Software
  • 8) Go to the following: Device Setup -> TERMINAL SETUP
  • 9) Double click on your device, update IP Address or host to 192.168.1.103, then Save
